Grape variety: 70% Montepulciano and 30% Sangiovese
The grapes are grown in the area of Ripatransone (Piceno DOC) in Marche, where the soil of the vineyard is loose with the presence of limestone at the altitude of 280 m.
They are picked and collected in bins, maceration in 60 hl oak vats for 6-10 days. Refining and malolactic fermentation in barrique from 20 to 24 months plus one year in steel tanks. Minimum 3 months refining in bottle.
The result is a dark ruby coloured red wine with ripe red fruit aromas, and spicy fragrance. The taste is intense, persistent, rightly tannic. Organic product.
Pairing suggestion: Combine with well-seasoned dishes, roasted red meat, game.
