Lago della Pergola is a sophisticated red wine from Vetrère, built around the native Negroamaro grape. It originates from their oldest Negroamaro vineyards, hand-selected at harvest and carefully vinified under controlled temperatures. The wine matures for 12 months in wooden barrels, followed by a recommended 12 months of bottle aging.

In the glass, it shows a deep red‑violet hue, with aromas of blackberry, plum, and subtle oak spice. On the palate it’s full-bodied yet fresh, with lively fruit and silky, soft tannins framed by moderate acidity and long persistence.

Best enjoyed with grilled or roasted red meats and aged hard or semi‑hard cheeses.
