Terms and Conditions
GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR PRIVATE CUSTOMERS
Prices, Invoicing, Payment Methods
All prices are stated in Swiss Francs (CHF) and include statutory value-added tax (VAT). Transport and shipping costs are not included in the stated prices. We accept all major credit cards, debit cards, and TWINT as payment methods. Cash payments are accepted only for in-store pickup.
Validity of Conditions and Prices
The prices published at the time of ordering shall apply. We reserve the right to make changes to the product range, vintages, prices, and conditions, as well as to availability. Obvious errors, misprints, and typographical mistakes are subject to correction. Claims for damages resulting from such obvious errors or typographical mistakes are excluded.
Payment Terms
Invoices are payable net within 14 days from the invoice date. Default interest and reminder fees may be charged. We also reserve the right to deliver only against credit card payment or advance payment. No invoices are issued for deliveries abroad; payments must be made exclusively by credit card or in advance.
For payments on account, Vinebration GmbH reviews and evaluates the customer’s data and may, if justified, exchange data with MorgaTreuhand.
Retention of Title and Right of Withdrawal
Until full payment has been received, the goods remain the property of Vinebration GmbH. In the event of late payment, we are entitled to withdraw from the purchase contract. We reserve the right to register the retention of title with the competent authority.
Orders may be cancelled free of charge prior to dispatch. As wine is a food product and the seller has no control over storage conditions after delivery, orders cannot be cancelled after delivery and the contract between seller and customer is binding.
Sale to Minors
Swiss law prohibits the sale of spirits, aperitifs, and alcopops to persons under 18 years of age, and the sale of wine, beer, and cider to persons under 16 years of age. In order to comply with legal requirements, particularly in the online wine shop, we may request your date of birth. Our wine consultants are entitled at any time to verify the customer’s age by means of an official ID. Purchases in the online wine shop are only permitted from the age of 18.
