Vetrère Barone Pazzo is a red wine made from 100% Primitivo, a hallmark grape variety of Puglia’s Salento region. Crafted from the oldest vines, the grapes are hand-harvested at peak ripeness and vinified with precision. Initial fermentation takes place in stainless-steel tanks at controlled temperatures, followed by 12 months of aging in wooden barrels, after which further bottle aging is recommended for another 12 months.

The wine boasts an intense ruby-red color with plum and ripe cherry notes, and hints of balsamic and gentle spice. It offers rich extract, balanced and smooth tannins that deliver both structure and finesse.

Food pairings include pasta with meat sauces, red meats, and aged hard or semi-hard cheeses. Serve at around 18 °C for optimal enjoyment.
