Grape variety: Tempranillo
Coming from Matanegra, an area of clay soil with a great capability of water retention.
The relatively high altitude of 600 meters gives the wine freshness and good acidity. Harvested manually in October due to slow ripening process. After the first carbonic maceration it’s fermented in traditional style in the second tank. In the third phase, malolactic fermentation is carried out in French oak barrels for six months.
Velvety red wine with a modern profile, cherry, ripe raspberry and a hint of green almond on the nose and on the palate. The source is long with smooth tannins.
Alcohol by volume: 14,0%
