Lumìe Brut Terre Siciliane IGP is a fresh and delicate ‘Metodo Ancestrale’ sparkling wine made primarily from Catarratto grapes, harvested during Sicily’s cool late-July nights. After 90 days on the lees, it shows a pale straw-yellow color with silver reflections.
On the nose, it reveals elegant notes of white rose, freshly baked bread, and mandarin zest. The palate is lively with lemony freshness and subtle hints of white peach. With fine, persistent bubbles and a well-balanced acidity, it’s ideal as an aperitif or paired with light tartares and lemon cheesecake.
Best served at 4 °C in a flute glass, it perfectly reflects the vibrant, citrusy character suggested by its name — “Lumìe,” a traditional Sicilian citrus fruit.
