The grapes for Socarrats come from vineyards northwest of Gratallops, where over 40-year-old Carignan vines grow alongside a small number of younger Grenache plants. Harvest took place by hand on September 16, 2020, with grapes carefully collected and refrigerated overnight. After complete destemming, the must underwent a 23-day cold maceration before pressing.
