Pumie Metodo Ancestrale IGP Terre Siciliane is a vibrant organic sparkling rosé made from 100% Nocera grapes in south-west Sicily. Produced using the traditional Metodo Ancestrale, it offers delicate aromas of ripe red apple, raspberry, and rose petals. Fresh citrus notes of pink grapefruit and lime are complemented by subtle hints of basil and lively acidity. Perfect as an aperitif or paired with seafood dishes and light appetizers.
Best enjoyed well chilled at 4 °C in a tulip-shaped glass. It pairs beautifully as an aperitif, with fried finger food, citrus tuna tartare, stewed cod, and ratatouille.
The name “Pumie” has a special story behind it: “Pumu” means apple in Sicilian slang, while Pumie is a playful word creation inspired by “Lumie”, Baglio Diar’s first pét-nat sparkling wine.
