Grape variety: Primitivo
Selection of the grapes in the vineyard and manual harvest takes place at the end of September. The grapes are destemmed and gently pressed in order to obtain a must, rich of natural varietal aromas concentrated in the outer part of the grape berry. Alcoholic fermentation takes place after maceration at controlled temperature 26-28°C. After malolactic fermentation, refinement in barriques for minimum 10 months.
Deep, dark colour, intense bouquet with notes of dark fruits, chocolate, tobacco, and eucalyptus. Heavy and round.
Pairing suggestion: roast red meats, grills, pasta with game sauce, well-structured soups and game, mature cheeses.
Excellent wine in its category.
