Grape variety: Prieto Picudo – from Golán estate
Ageing: 26 months in French oak barrels
Cherry red colour with ruby red rims.
On the nose: high intensity with aromas reminiscent of liquorice, plum and dried apricot, in the background sweet blackberry and subtly balsamic.
On the palate it is silky and pleasant. With a fair acidity, polished tannins, powerful body and with long aftertaste,
reappearance of dried apricot and cocoa.
Pairing suggestion: red and white meats, stews, Galician stew, churrasco, small game, fish, rice, and pasta well seasoned and cured and semi-cured cheeses.
