The Cabernet Franc variety is often used in blends and not so often used for single variety wine. Somehow this grape finds optimal conditions in Hungary, quite common in many of the country's wine regions and we can find exceptional single vatriety wines, basically, in every region where it is grown from Eger to Villány.
Hand-picked clusters of Bourdeaux-selected French clones of cabernet franc was processed in this wine. After the fermentation with natural yeast the wine spent 14 months in differently roasted new 225 l barrels. Bottled after soft clarifying without filtering.
The 2HA Cabernet is a soft and smooth representation of the variety (even though it is famous for its wildness) with a lot of fruit on the nose and on the palate as well. Medium body with concentrated aromas, elegance and with a long finish: "a macho with a melting heart"
