Grape variety: Furmint

Vineyard selected dry Furmint from Tokaj.

Furmint is one of the autochthonous grapes of Tokaj and is considered to be the "flagship" variety of the region and Hungary as well.  Used for producing dry and sweet wines too.

Barakonyi vineyard is the most precious vineyard of the Tokaj Nobilis winery that gives their best wines.

Medium-bodied with ripe pear notes underlaid with honey blossom, tobacco-spice, candied orange zest and a hint of mango on the nose, green apple on the palate with lemony-salty aftertaste. Organic product.

The winemaker made the most out of this difficult vintage.
