Nero di Vite is made of 50% Montepulciano and 50% Sangiovese grapes grown in the area of Ripatransone (Piceno DOC) in Marche, Italy. The soil of the vineyard is sand with limestone presence at the altitude between 280 to 400 m.
The grapes are picked and collected in bins, maceration in 60 hl oak vats for 6-9 days. Malolactic fermentation and ageing in new oak barrels for 36 months. Bottle aged at least for 10 months.
