The hand-picked grapes go through a double manual selection. The entire wine making process takes place at a controlled temperature. The spontaneous fermentation is followed by 25 days of maceration and separation from the seeds. Malolactic fermentation in steel.
Being aged for 24 months in French barriques on fine lees then final ageing in steel. 12 months in the bottle.
Spirito della Vite is a complex red wine with a great structure, mature fruit perfumes, hints of cherry, plum jam, scents of spices, vanilla, wood and cocoa. It has an intensive ruby red colour with purple reflection. Rich on the nose with notes of wild berries such as black currant and plum, aromatic herbs, oak with a cinnamon and cocoa background. In the mouth it’s full-bodied, fine and harmonious with a very pleasant persistence.

Pairing suggestion: risotto or ragout, roasted meat, meat stew with mushrooms, cheese.
